Launched by the Inter-University Higher Academic Council (IUHAC), Paris, in collaboration with international academic and cultural partners, this distinguished global initiative recognizes artists whose creative work serves not only aesthetic excellence but also the higher purpose of peace, cultural harmony, and human progress.

Founded on the timeless understanding that art is humanity’s most universal language, the programme unites artists from diverse nations, traditions, and disciplines. Whether through painting, music, performance, film, or other creative forms, these artists transcend borders and ideologies, opening spaces for dialogue, empathy, and mutual respect. Their work reminds the world that creativity has the power to connect hearts where politics and words often fail.

The Certificate and Its Alignment with UNESCO Principles

The World Artist for Peace and Culture Certificate is awarded in alignment with the principles championed by UNESCO, particularly those related to cultural preservation, intercultural dialogue, education, and peace- building. While issued through an international academic and cultural framework, the certificate reflects UNESCO’s enduring mission: to build peace in the minds of people through culture, education, and creativity.

This recognition is granted to artists whose contributions go beyond personal achievement and artistic mastery. It honours those whose work actively promotes understanding among cultures, safeguards heritage and tradition, and reinforces the shared ethical values of humanity. International Validity and the Responsibility of Recognition

Carrying international validity and moral authority, the certificate formally designates its recipients as Global Artists for Peace and Culture. More than an honorary title, it is a mark of trust and responsibility. Awarded artists are recognized as cultural ambassadors—individuals whose creative influence extends into social awareness, ethical leadership, and global engagement.

This recognition affirms each recipient’s commitment to:

• Promoting peace, non-violence, and reconciliation through artistic expression

• Encouraging intercultural respect and meaningful dialogue

• Preserving cultural heritage and traditional knowledge for future generations

• Inspiring young artists and communities through creativity and human values

Four Artists Awarded the Certificates

In this award cycle, three exceptional artists from different regions of the world have been honoured with the World Artist for Peace and Culture Certificate. Their selection reflects not only artistic excellence, but also

integrity, dedication, and a profound commitment to using creativity as a bridge between cultures and peoples.

Names of the Honoured Artists – WORLD ARTISTS FPR PEAVE FOR 2025

1. It symbolizes international confidence in the artists’ ability to shape thought, influence society, and continue serving as ambassadors of peace and culture in an increasingly complex world.

This honour encourages Basic Solomonashvili, Hwang Sang Keun, and Anatoli Silov to further expand their creative reach, mentor emerging artists, and actively participate in international cultural dialogue.
